Bruna Ignatowska’s debut collection is a comic take on romantic ideals: poking fun at the often ridiculous, false and ‘cheesy’ aspects of love and liaisons. Exploring this theme through her longstanding obsession with creating colourful, decorative textiles that inspire some beautiful, complex pieces within a riot of bright and bold colour. Layering original prints, embroidery, laser cutting and fabric manipulation together gives Bruna’s collection a truly distinctive signature, which is arresting and memorable, creating a fantastical, fun and ‘dreamlike’ statement.
