Blessings of a Youngling
days were beautifully long
nights just a brief moment
dreams were seen
with eyes wide open
pleasure a chocolate cookie
guilt from innocent lies
wishes were never enough
with plenty laughs or cries
life a curiosity filled mystery
yesterday long forgotten history
such are blessings of a youngling
