When we think of great artists, Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Michelangelo’s sculptures in the Louvre come to mind. Now next to them Dior, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent etc have been added, showing us the exquisite work of the designers of our time which will surely go down in history.
Fashion has always flirted with art. From Elsa Schiaparelli’s collaboration with Salvador Dali in the 1930s to Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic Mondrian dress in the 60s, designers have drawn inspiration directly from the art world. But in today’s culture, this relationship has evolved into something deeper
