Hector Maclean’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, The Girl Who Ate The Dragon, transforms a friend’s quiet declaration of survival – “I am no longer chasing the dragon”- into a mythic runway odyssey about resilience, rebirth and the monsters we become to defeat our own. Opening with virginal whites and sword‑cut silhouettes before shifting into Joan of Arc armour, blood‑red battle gowns and finally scaly, 3D‑printed dragon hide, the collection charts a maiden’s evolution from captive to conqueror, her scars rendered in hand‑stained fabrics and molten‑lava hues.
