Time Threads

Fashion Designer

Pippa Todorson’s Threads of Time AW25 collection emerged within the haunting grandeur of St. Giles’ Cripplegate, where history and legacy shaped a deeply evocative narrative. An elegy on nostalgia and renewal, the collection reimagined the opulence of the ’60s and ’70s, fusing vintage silhouettes with a modernist precision. Each piece wove a personal narrative, paying homage to Todorson’s late mother – fashion not merely as finery, but as an heirloom of memory and reinvention.

Sustainability remained at the heart of the collection, with meticulously sourced surplus textiles repurposed into garments that transcended their origins. The interplay of texture and structure—sculptural wool coats softened by fluid silks, metallic-threaded brocades catching the dim cathedral light—mirrored the tension between memory and reimagination.

This show was more than a collection; it was a declaration of intent. As Todorson marked a decade in the industry and secured her place within the British Fashion Council, Threads of Time cemented her legacy: reverence for heritage, mastery of reinvention.
